We are looking for aย Logistics Coordinator to join ourย Logisticsย team. This person will primarilyย be responsible forย overseeing customer orders from the moment they are received until they are shipped, being the communication bridge between sales and warehouse, and otherย logisticsย duties as needed.ย 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn quickly and be a team player, whileย maintainingย a great attitude in dealing directly with our customers. The candidate will also be highly detail-oriented, well organized, willing toย pivot toย help in other departments asย needed andย will have one to five years of relatedย logisticsย or dispatch experience. The candidate should haveย good timeย management skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. The candidate must have strong computer skills includingย MSย Office. Experience with SAP Business One and/or EDI is a plus.ย 

  • Daily familiarity with all pending open ordersย in regards toย customer requirements, expected ship date, and needed labor allocation.ย 

  • High execution of compliance for all shipment types including small parcel, LTL, truckload, and intermodal containers.ย 

  • Tasks released to the warehouse staff in a systematic andย accurateย way that allows for a smooth product flow of outbound shipping.ย 

  • Supporting the goals and metrics given by theย Director ofย Logisticsย such as processing time, accuracy, and compliance.ย 

  • Successfully handling variances in volumes and shipping requirements for B2B and B2C methods across our customer base.ย 

  • Clearly and concisely communicating problems that arise with a solution minded attitude.ย 

  • High accountability and executionย regardingย shipping schedules and deadlines.ย 

  • Serving those who serve the customer.ย 

  • Well organized, analytical, and detail oriented in all task management tools.ย 

  • Monitor incoming inventory through our supply chain in respect to urgent shipments for a select catalog of customers.ย 

  • Simultaneouslyย operatingย in multiple software systems to prioritize, process, track, and invoice shipments.ย 

  • Create and present department reports to Dispatch Coordinator and/or Operations Managementย 

Education / Experience / Preferred Skillsย 

  • University or Collegiate levelย degree;ย or equivalent combination of education and experience.ย 

  • 2-3 years working in a warehouse, or a transportation role preferred, but notย required.ย 

  • Experienceย working inย a supply chain roleย preferred butย notย required.ย 

  • Experience working in SAP B1 orย AccellosOneย WMSย preferred butย notย required.ย 

  • Knowledge of collegiate and professional sports teamsย a plus.ย 

  • Experience with Microsoft family of products: Outlook, Excel, Wordย 

  • Experience working with EDI transactionsย preferred butย notย required.ย
