Job Description

You will direct the development and implementation of activities in the Warehouse Operations working with the production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost goals. Prioritize the Warehouse Activities requirements guided by production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plan and administer procedures to manage the Warehouse Goals and Personnel. Leads the management and multiple support staff residing within the direct/indirect labor function. Develop schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. You will report to the Manager, Customer Success and work onsite in Milwaukee, WI.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse operations, inventory control, materials management, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
  • Leading or coordinating warehouse, supply chain, or production-related activities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, inventory accuracy programs, and physical inventory processes.
  • Analyze operational data, labor use, backlogs, and resource planning requirements.
  • Using continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, ROS, or similar operational excellence tools.
  • Managing KPIs, metrics, action plans, and operational performance objectives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business systems used in warehouse and manufacturing operations.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse operations, materials management, manufacturing, production control, or supply chain environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Production & Operations, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management, or a related field.
  • Experience leading and developing hourly production or warehouse employees.
  • Experience managing multiple functional areas within manufacturing or operations environments.
  • Advanced SAP and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience implementing warehouse management, inventory control, and material distribution systems.
  • Proven success driving Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Experience managing budgets, productivity goals, quality metrics, and cost-reduction programs.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for inventory accuracy and operational issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting operational metrics and business performance results to leadership.
  • Experience coordinating warehouse operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive employee engagement, safety, and operational excellence.
