MLB & Associates is seeking a hauling dispatcher for our client, a fast-growing logistics and transportation company specializing in hauling services for construction, landscaping, or general freight. They are committed to delivering reliable and efficient services to our clients while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
 
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Hauling Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule hauling operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for dispatching drivers, managing routes, communicating with clients and field teams, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
 
Responsibilities:
·        Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate job sites or pick-up/drop-of locations
·        Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams via phone, text, and dispatch software
·        Monitor driver locations and job status using GPS tracking systems
·        Adjust routes in real time due to delays, weather, or customer changes
·        Maintain accurate records of daily operations, driver logs, and service documentation
·        Ensure compliance with DOT and company regulations
·        Handle service requests, emergencies, and driver issues promptly and professionally
·        Collaborate with fleet managers and logistics coordinators for equipment availability
 
Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent (required)
·        Prior dispatching experience in hauling, transportation, logistics, or trucking (preferred)
·        Strong knowledge of local and regional geography
·        Proficient with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, email)
·        Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
·        Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
·        Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
 
Schedule:
·        Expected hours 40-45 per week
