As the Production Technician Associate, you will support daily data center logistics operations, including receiving equipment, moving materials, staging items, and preparing shipments while safely operating material handling equipment. This role requires following established procedures, accurately tracking inventory, and escalating discrepancies, with a strong focus on learning logistics processes, tools, and safety standards.

Day Shift - Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Receive, move, stage, and prepare equipment and materials for shipment to support daily data center logistics operations
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts in accordance with training and safety guidelines
  • Follow established procedures and work instructions, completing tasks based on priorities set by a lead or supervisor
  • Accurately record inventory movements in systems and promptly escalate discrepancies or issues for resolution
  • Continuously learn and apply data center logistics processes, tools, and safety expectations in daily tasks

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures

It'd be great if you also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience
  • 3 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment
  • Availability to travel more than 75% of the time
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members
  • Ability to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

This job requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work outside on occasion
  • Reach (including above your head)
  • Safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
  • Visually adjust focus, have depth perception and close vision capabilities
