Position Summary:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective movement, storage, and distribution of electrical products and materials. This role ensures that all logistics operations—from procurement to delivery—are executed with precision, aligning with company goals and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management within the electrical distribution or construction materials industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams to maintain optimal stock.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure high performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Purchasing, Operations) to align logistics with business needs.
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in electrical distribution or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations.
