Summary:
The Manager Shipping and Receiving is directly responsible for all supervisory, administrative, and technical matters pertaining to the entire Warehouse Logistics and Distribution operation. Performing daily logistics department tasks independently; interfacing with various internal and external partners (e.g. Customer Care, Finance, freight forwarders and Distribution Centers); preparing documentation; staffing and resource allocation and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to service our customers. Additional responsibilities include problem research and resolution as well as participating in and driving department projects.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Owning and managing selected Regional Logistics responsibilities with minimal support from more senior staff
  • Managing daily "Small Package" shipments which includes coordinating consolidated shipments, preparing documentation and arranging/booking freight with carriers
  • Managing and supporting daily "Large Pack" shipments which includes coordinating consolidated shipments, preparing documentation and arranging/booking freight with carriers
  • Managing Instrument and consumable returns.
  • Facilitating consistent and timely delivery of orders to customers via track, trace and problem resolution as well as obtaining and distributing Carrier Proof of Delivery information as needed
  • Addressing and resolving any conflicting priorities to the benefit of Revvity' s business requirements and our customers
  • Interfacing with internal and external partners to process shipments; partners routinely include STDCs, manufacturing sites, freight forwarders, Global Order Fulfillment, Sales and Service Managers, International Trade Compliance and Accounting
  • Researching and resolving basic logistics related challenges as they arise
  • Managing Global Trade Solution reports and releases to proactively facilitate extra-ordinary freight shipments
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reconciling key performance reports including PANGI and Carrier Performance
  • Creating, monitoring, and expediting critical product shipments.
  • Review and approve payment of weekly freight invoice files.
  • Performing other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support our customers, the Logistics and Materials Management team and our internal and external partners.

  • Managing the communication and transactional flow with a 3PL vendor storing excess material
  • Manage the preventative maintenance and repairs of warehouse related equipment
  • Material Management responsibility, receiving, put away, and inventory control/cycle count physical inventory
  • TMS master data and process control
  • Performance management of warehouse and shipping staff

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years direct experience in Warehousing/Logistics Operations; including inventory management, operations, and logistics
  • 5+ years of direct staff management experience

  • 10+ years direct experience in Warehousing/Logistics Operations; including inventory management, operations, and logistics
  • 5+ years of direct staff management experience

OR
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 12+ years direct experience in Warehousing/Logistics Operations; including inventory management, operations, and logistics
  • 5+ years of direct staff management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong capability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English is required
  • Ability to interact effectively and respectfully in a global, multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment
  • Strong facilitation, multi-tasking, collaboration, and self-management skills
  • Experience in importing, exporting, and trade compliance within Europe and Asia
  • Experience in measuring performance, setting goals, and engaging team-based problem solving, implementation and countermeasures.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (ideally in SAP) is preferred.
  • Proven time management, prioritization and flexibility skills to balance shifting priorities.

Physical Requirements & Expectations:
  • Candidate will be capable of working in both an Office and Warehouse setting with potentials of long hours on their feet
  • Candidate will be capable of working extended hours for seasonal coverage as needed by the demands of the business
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Compensation Range:
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $91,000 - 110,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
