Job Description

Responsibilities:
The Senior Operations Dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring successful daily delivery operations. You will:
  • Oversee dispatch operations for all delivery routes and ensure on-time performance
  • Monitor route progress and proactively resolve issues related to delays, safety incidents, or customer escalations
  • Manage, coach, and support Delivery Associates (DAs) to meet company performance and safety standards
  • Track and analyze operational metrics such as on-road performance, route completion, and station compliance
  • Coordinate with Amazon station management, Driver Support, and Safety teams as needed
  • Assist in scheduling, route planning, and daily logistics coordination
  • Maintain clear and professional communication across all levels of the organization
  • Enforce compliance with all company and Amazon policies, including DOT and safety requirements
  • Prepare shift handoff reports and identify process improvements for greater efficiency

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of logistics, dispatching, or operations management experience (Amazon DSP or similar preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency with technology tools (Excel, Slack, GPS systems, routing dashboards, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing delivery operations or fleet management
  • Knowledge of Amazon DSP metrics (DSB, On-Road Compliance, DA metrics)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
  • Experience leading teams of 20+ employees
