Credence has an immediate need for a Senior Logistics Manager to support the Fixed Wing Branch (AFLCMC/WISM) within the Special Operations Forces and Personnel Recovery Division (AFLCMC/WIS) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. In this role, the selected candidate will provide logistics expertise and program support for a diverse portfolio of programs focused on delivering advanced weapon systems and mission-critical capabilities to the warfighter in an efficient, effective, and timely manner. AFLCMC/WIS oversees a broad range of specialized programs, each with unique missions aligned to a common objective: ensuring Special Operations Forces and Personnel Recovery units are equipped with the best possible capabilities to accomplish their missions. The division is organized into several designated branches, including the Fixed Wing Branch (AFLCMC/WISM), which serves as the primary focus of this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below: Provide life cycle logistics technical expertise for the day-to-day management of the 12 integrated product support elements: product support management; sustaining engineering; design interface; supply support; maintenance planning and management; Support Equipment (SE); facilities and infrastructure; packaging, handling, storage and transportation; technical data; manpower and personnel; training and training support; and computer resources in accordance with DAFI 63-101/20-10, Air Force Pamphlet (AFPAM) 63-128, DAFMAN 63-143, and the DoD Integrated Product Support Manager Elements Guidebook. The Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP) are considered inherently part of the 12 integrated product support elements. Provide advisory assistance to develop and document recommended logistics inputs for PWSs, requests for proposals, and CDRLs for assigned programs. Prepare for and participate in acquisition strategy planning, program reviews, meetings, working groups, and integrated product teams as requested by the Government, including gathering and compiling information, preparing briefing charts, finalizing meeting minutes, and tracking action item resolution. Prepare and coordinate correspondence and reports. Provide assistance in the preparation of budget estimates and evaluation of cost, schedules, performance, and program risks. Provide advisory assistance on evaluating weapon system contractor change proposals and drafting directives, military specifications, and standards for logistics program impacts resulting from each proposed change. Provide advisory assistance to compile Contract Performance Assessment Reporting System inputs. Monitor fielded systems and provide advisory assistance on determining if the systems meet product support metrics. Assist in maintenance planning and management activities for the lifecycle for all levels of maintenance. Perform warranty management support. Develop supply support requirements to meet program availability metrics and ensure supplies are procured, cataloged, and available. Provide advisory assistance to manage the acquisition and sustainment of technical data. Provide advisory assistance to prepare plans necessary to activate bases receiving new aircraft and equipment. Perform depot source of repair and repair planning and activation in accordance with DAFMAN 63-122. Review, evaluate, process, and track SE recommendation data; assess SE programs; and provide recommendations to the Government to ensure proper SE is available by the established need date. Assess facilities requirements and provide recommendations to the Government to ensure adequacy to operate and support the system, subsystem, or end-items. Evaluate packaging, handling, storage, and transportation requirements and provide recommendations to the Government to ensure proper processes and procedures are implemented. Review and assess the training and training equipment/system program, plans, and schedules, and make recommendations to the Government regarding potential improvements, issues, and risks. Provide Government Furnished Property (GFP) technical expertise; identify concerns, risks, and issues; and provide recommended courses of action to the Government in the day-to-day management of GFP. Perform centralized asset management as outlined in accordance with DAFMAN 63-143. Requirements Education, Requirements and Qualifications: Must have an active or current Secret security clearance (or higher), verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD; OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD; OR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD.
