Job description

The Sr. Office Manager - Shipping/Logistics oversees office operations focused on shipping and logistics, ensuring smooth administration and coordination of the supply chain. Reporting directly to the owner, this role manages a small-sized team and maintains strong relationships with both internal staff and customers. The ideal candidate excels in leadership, problem solving, and communication, with in-depth knowledge of parcel and freight shipment processes. This position is remote and does not require travel and emphasizes team building and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee office administration and logistics operations
  • Coordinate shipping activities and manage shipping schedules
  • Supervise and develop a team of 6 employees
  • Manage budgets related to shipping and logistics
  • Negotiate regularly with vendors and carriers
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Focus on internal team coordination and teambuilding

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in office management
  • Proven skills in office administration and logistics coordination
  • Experience managing shipping and understanding supply chain processes
