Job description

Your next role as a Miracle Maker 

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Manufacturing team as a Temporary Logistics Coordinator I. As a  Temporary Logistics Coordinator I, you'll be responsible for Alphazyme's shipping and receiving processes while supporting maintenance and production of inventory necessary for fulfilling customer demands, which includes all activities related to maintaining the responsible Warehouse and stockroom areas. The Logistics Coordinator also assists with supporting internal demands and the management of relevant formulation and fulfillment processes through executing protocols.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Perform inspection and receipt on all incoming goods, and placing goods into appropriate inventory storage locations.
  • Create labels, package goods/materials, and take them to the shipping location.
  • Arrange for carrier shipments and replenishment of shipping materials/labels.
  • Provide support for product formulations to maintain internal inventory levels as well as fulfill make-to-order customer demand.
  • Provide support for formulation of solutions and buffers needed for supporting internal needs as well as external customer requests.
  • Support a culture of good documentation through execution of work instructions and resulting records.
  • Adhere to quality standards as established by company policy and certifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and a high level of organization in responsible Warehouse and stockroom areas as well as manage materials in responsible Warehouse and stockroom areas.
  • Perform other functions and duties as required.

 The skills and experience that you will bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in life science discipline such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology preferred.
  • Previous experience that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of good documentation practices.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 is desired.
