About Department 705 - OHIO Class & MMP Life Cycle Support
Department 705 provides Life Cycle Planning Yard support of submarines and facilities at Pacific forward sites in engineering, planning, logistics and modernization. Technical manual development, editorial oversight, deficiency reporting, tracking and validation. Preventative maintenance planning development, review and management Coordinate logistics efforts for MMP related SHIPALTs and develop ILS certifications.
Role Overview
As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Program Representative, you will support the coordination, tracking, and development of logistics products to include but not limited to maintenance planning, supply support, and/or configuration management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track workflow of products
  • Assess and develop process improvements
  • Daily use of computer driven systems and metrics reporting
  • Review and/or assess alterations, change documentation, drawings, and technical manuals
  • Address feedback reports and provide recommendations for logistics support
  • The position will entail significant interaction and engagement with various customers such as EB Program Office, Government Agencies, Engineering, ILS disciplines, EB Off-Site Departments, and subcontractors

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Active TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.
  • Applicant must be able to acquire SCI access clearance.
  • 5-10 years' submarine experience to include maintenance planning, material management, or logistics management

Preferred
  • Knowledge of submarine design and material.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.

  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Candidates must be a Team player and highly motivated
  • Willing and able to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong communications (Written and Oral) and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function independently and work in a multi-discipline team environment
  • Willingness to assist with issues using independent judgment, ingenuity, creativity and sound decision-making processes
  • Ability to analyze / interpret technical data and provide solutions to effectively meet quality and schedule demands in support of programs
