About the Position

Our largest manufacturing facility in the United States is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager- Logistics to join their team. 

What you can look forward to as Senior Manager Supply Chain- Logistics:

  • Developing and managing all functions and strategies within the Supply Chain to ensure uninterrupted material flow beginning from serial Suppliers through internal Machining/Assembly until the OEM/customers as well as to ensure the corresponding consistent information flow. 
  • Support facility and corporate goals by planning costs, investments, and headcounts, as well as by leading subordinates and supporting their personal development.
  • Responsible for developing new and maintaining/improving existing functions and strategies managing within the Inbound Logistics Department at ZF Transmissions Gray Court (ZFTG), a plant with greater than 2000 employees. 
  • Ensure the uninterrupted physical and systematical flow of raw materials, parts, and services from the internal and external sources, as well as the corresponding information flow to all involved organizations.
  • Responsible for production plan and raw materials, transportation planning and performance, and supply chain performance. 
  • Responsible for developing and managing all functions and strategies within the Customer Logistics Department to ensure uninterrupted material flow of finished goods as well as the corresponding consistent information flow to and from all customers.
  • Responsible for developing and managing all functions and strategies of Outbound
  • Logistics to ensure uninterrupted material flow of finished goods from end of line at ZF Transmissions Gray Court (ZFTG) to customer shipment in a plant with greater than 2000 employees.  

Your profile as Senior Supply Chain Manager-Logistics:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • 15 years of advanced supply chain management experience 
  • 10 years people management experience 
  • Extensive experience with supply chain management and knowledge of purchasing principles 
  • Budget & cost management experience
