Job description

Job Overview:
This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.
The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility in addition to hosting a full beverage distribution center. Spartanburg is the largest KDRP manufacturing and distribution location. The site will operate on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); leverage the principles of Lean manufacturing and harness the power of High-Performance Teams. All associates at the Spartanburg site will have accountability to a functional business unit in addition to the full site operation. The site will run on state-of-the-art enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.
The Logistics Manager at Keurig Dr Pepper's Spartanburg operation will play a pivotal role in the direction and optimization of our warehouse and material movement operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining the high standards set by our TPM, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and High-Performance Team principles. They will oversee 2 facilities (1 in operation, the 2nd, is starting up). The Logistics Manager will lead a team within a cutting-edge, highly automated environment with a focus on quality, cost efficiency, and process improvement. We are looking for a hands on, dynamic leader that will continue to grow with our team!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Drive productivity, quality, and efficiency improvements in warehouse operations.
  • Identify and reduce controllable expenses while improving cost productivity and outbound shipment quality.
  • Oversee daily operations, including the development of training plans, performance feedback, project implementation, continuous process improvement, and effective communication with internal business leadership and employees.
  • Coordinate with Planning on throughput demand and align resources accordingly to meet site requirements for customer delivery performance
  • Own optimization of Technology comprised of 70 LGVs working in tandem with customized programming
  • Build strategic roadmaps to enable future busniess growth

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing multi-site logistics operations.
  • Proven experience with automation technologies and automated warehouse systems (e.g., AMRs, LGVs, conveyor systems, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in logistics software, WMS, and TMS systems, with experience integrating these systems with automation technologies.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
