Job Description

Candidate Responsibilities

Responsible for performing work to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results. 

This role performs all support activities for the Supply Chain Planning Process and the Plan for Every Part. 

Documents PFEP information in the PFEP Database, including, but not limited to: 

o Facility lean material flow plans 

o Facility material presentation 

This position deploys visual elements and standard work in facilities, and actively supports facility change management activities as new supply chain processes are deployed. 

This position is responsible for communicating Supply Chain Planning changes to key change targets, utilizing Change Management processes and utilizing visual elements throughout the value stream, including boards, signage and posted standard work and job aids. 

Performs tactical, hands-on work with other Supply Chain functions to drive supply chain improvements.


Typical Day

Working to support the facility lineside transformation.

Day typically includes work desk location on the factory floor supporting label placement, kanban implementation and detail floor footprint.


Qualifications

Technical Skills

Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel.

Previous experience with SAP & AutoCAD.


Soft Skills

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. 

Ability to work independently and manage one's time
