As the Site Logistics Leader, you will provide leadership across multiple businesses, overseeing the entire order fulfillment process, from receiving, inventory management, distribution warehouse replenishment and direct customer shipments. This role will champion a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement while ensuring the warehouse is organized and presentable for customer tours. The Warehouse Manager directs all day-to-day warehouse operations, material handling, and shipping functions by working with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Planning and Manufacturing to ensure flawless end-to-end supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accurate order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and complete customer satisfaction
  • Lead a team of ~10 warehouse personnel, manage the flow and quality of work and materials, and balance workload to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently
  • Utilize WMS and ERP systems to monitor inventory levels, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Use, teach, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Train and mentor warehouse personnel on best practices
  • Monitor warehouse and fulfillment efficiency, identify improvement opportunities, and drive Continuous Improvement using 5S principles
  • Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements, equipment maintenance requirements, and best practices for a safe and clean working environment. Champion a world-class safety culture
  • Enforce policies related to OSHA, DOT, and internal standards.

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement warehouse and distribution strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership on long-term planning, capacity, and network optimization.
  • Develop and implement workflows to drive efficiency and operational excellence through partnering with leadership on long-term planning, capacity, and business growth.

Financial & Budget Management
  • Develop and manage operating budgets (labor, equipment, capital expenditures).
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Leadership & Talent Development
  • Build, lead, and mentor warehouse leadership teams (managers, supervisors).
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and workforce engagement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous learning.

Inventory & Systems Management
  • Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and integrity across all locations.
  • Oversee WMS/ERP system optimization and data reliability.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and material flow.

Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Analyze processes and implement improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to drive performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening

  • Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive warehouse/logistics experience working in a warehouse and fulfillment position for a temperature controlled warehouse.
  • 5+ years in senior leadership or multi-site management roles.
  • Minimum 5+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience> Chemical manufacturing field a plus.
