Job description

GLOBAL LOGISTICS LEAD (STARLINK)

As the Global Logistics Lead, you will own end-to-end logistics operations, including fulfillment, distribution networks, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) infrastructure projects. This role oversees first-mile transportation, middle-mile logistics, and last-mile delivery across global markets.

You will design and implement optimal freight routing solutions while building strategic internal and external partnerships, processes, and tools to support production, engineering, finance, and supply chain objectives. With full accountability and oversight for all logistics movements related to the program, you will identify and leverage partnerships and synergies to deliver timely, cost-efficient solutions to internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

STRATEGIC OPERATIONS

Design and execute the regional or country specific fulfillment and distribution network strategy, including first mile, fulfillment operations, and last mile, in alignment with business growth objectives.
Develop and implement logistics network buildout strategies in direct support of CAPEX infrastructure projects, ensuring full alignment with overall business objectives.
Partner closely with Factory Operations, Supplier, Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Support teams to integrate logistics planning with overall operational and commercial goals.
Analyze network data, performance metrics, and operational analytics to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and service level improvements.
Develop innovative logistics solutions and strategic partnerships to strengthen the end-to-end network.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across internal teams and external partners.

STAKEHOLDER & NETWORK MANAGEMENT

Lead logistics project planning activities for capital infrastructure initiatives, including scope definition, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and risk management.
Provide clear and timely updates to internal and external stakeholders on program progress, milestones, network development, and sourcing strategy effectiveness using both quantitative and qualitative reporting.
Conduct program reviews, performance evaluations, and stakeholder alignment sessions to drive continuous improvement and secure buy-in for changes in logistics networks and partnerships.

TACTICAL OPERATIONS

Own the end-to-end logistics flow from factory and supplier origins (first mile) through fulfillment and or cross dock operations all the way to final customer delivery (last mile).
Lead full-scope logistics operations for large-scale infrastructure and CAPEX initiatives, optimizing complex global transportation networks, ensuring compliance with customs and international trade regulations, and delivering critical materials, equipment, and oversized cargo on time to enable program success.
Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic relationship owner for logistics partners, 3PLs, carriers, and fulfillment providers.
Negotiate high-impact partnerships, lead sourcing and performance management of logistics providers, and continuously optimize routing, warehousing, and delivery strategies to improve speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Drive day-to-day execution while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements that reduce costs and elevate overall network performance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or a related discipline.
7+ years of experience in global or regional logistics or fulfillment teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Direct experience building or scaling fulfillment and distribution networks across the United States and internationally.
Direct experience managing capital projects logistics in both domestic and international markets.
Proven success developing strategic logistics partnerships and optimizing first-mile, fulfillment center, and last-mile operations.
Strong track record of driving significant cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements within complex, high-volume distribution networks.
Hands-on experience collaborating with local 3PLs, carriers, express delivery providers, and warehouse operators across global markets.
Deep knowledge of U.S. and international logistics regulations, import/export compliance processes, and regional market dynamics.
Proficiency with logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to leverage data, KPIs, and metrics to guide network strategy and decision-making.
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills to drive results in fast-paced environments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 20-25%).
This position is based in Bastrop, TX and or Redmond/Woodinville, WA and requires regular onsite presence at key operational locations.
