Logistics Director
We are seeking a visionary Logistics Director to lead our third-party logistics operations with a relentless focus on data-driven excellence and strategic leadership. This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives on turning complex logistics challenges into competitive advantages through analytics, innovation, and exceptional team leadership.
Company Profile

Come join our growing company, where we are deeply committed to employee development and fostering an internal promotional structure that rewards dedication and growth. We prioritize investing in our team members, offering clear pathways for advancement from entry-level roles to management positions through comprehensive training and mentorship programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute high-impact supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels across the end-to-end logistics network.
  • Lead data analytics initiatives to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve logistics performance using KPIs, dashboards, and advanced analytics tools to drive actionable insights and measurable cost savings.
  • Provide strong strategic leadership to logistics teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance while mentoring and developing talent.
  • Negotiate and manage critical vendor and carrier contracts with a sharp focus on cost optimization, service reliability, and long-term value creation.
  • Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations, leveraging data analytics to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Analyze transportation spend, delivery performance, and network efficiency to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process excellence.
  • Champion the development and implementation of logistics policies, procedures, and innovative solutions that align with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytics expertise - proven ability to use data, metrics, and business intelligence tools to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep knowledge of logistics systems, transportation management, inventory optimization, and current industry regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working independently while thriving in collaborative, dynamic, and results-oriented settings.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader who combines strong analytical rigor with the ability to inspire teams and deliver transformative results in a third-party logistics environment.
Salary: $140,000 - $150,000, DOE; plus, potential for bonus
