Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider offering customized supply chain solutions across North America. Through experienced leadership, proven operational processes, and advanced technology, LINC delivers warehousing, transportation, inventory management, sequencing, and value-added logistics services for some of the world's largest manufacturers.
This position is based in Lake Orion, Michigan, supporting General Motors operations within a high-volume warehouse environment focused on pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and material flow. We are seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor to lead quality processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily quality activities across warehouse and production support operations
  • Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, operating procedures, and work instructions
  • Lead quality inspections, audits, and corrective action processes
  • Investigate quality concerns, customer complaints, inventory discrepancies, and non-conformance issues
  • Analyze quality data and identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans
  • Partner with Operations, Materials, Maintenance, and Customer teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Monitor KPIs related to quality performance, customer satisfaction, accuracy, and process compliance
  • Conduct employee training on quality standards, procedures, and customer expectations
  • Ensure all quality documentation, reports, and records are maintained accurately
  • Support new program launches, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead internal audits and assist with customer audits as required
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and development for quality team members
  • Promote a culture focused on accountability, quality, safety, and customer service

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in quality, warehousing, manufacturing, automotive, or logistics operations
  • Previous experience conducting audits, inspections, and root cause investigations
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, corrective actions, and process improvement methodologies
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing or automotive operations preferred
  • Knowledge of customer quality requirements and continuous improvement practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, quality reporting systems, and warehouse management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process compliance
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
