Inventory & Logistics Specialist


We are seeking an active, energetic, and detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Specialist to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Location: On-site - Doral, FL 33172
Pay: $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-time


Position Overview

The Inventory & Logistics Specialist will support daily receiving, inventory control, shipping, and warehouse operations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to accurately process documentation, and a willingness to spend most of the workday on the warehouse floor.

The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working closely with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily receiving, inventory, shipping, and warehouse activities
  • Confirm incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
  • Review packing slips, purchase orders, bills of lading, and receiving documentation
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, shipment details, and delivery destinations
  • Track inventory movements throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or inventory management system
  • Enter and update receiving, shipping, transfer, and adjustment information
  • Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory checks, and routine audits
  • Compare system inventory with physical inventory and report variances
  • Coordinate closely with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and customer service teams
  • Help prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Assist with labeling, packing, staging, loading, and unloading materials
  • Operate material-handling equipment as authorized and trained
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and inventory-control standards
  • Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Up to three years of experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records
  • Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and performing hands-on material-handling tasks
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize products and materials as required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, an ERP system, or another inventory management platform
  • Forklift or other material-handling equipment certification
  • Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, or discrepancy resolution
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of inventory-control procedures and warehouse safety practices

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive warehouse and inventory-related tasks
