Logistics Inventory Manager Summary
Results-driven Logistics Inventory Manager with experience overseeing inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient product flow. Skilled in inventory management systems, cycle counting, demand planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Proven ability to optimize inventory accuracy, reduce operational costs, and improve service levels while maintaining compliance with company standards.

JOBSUMMARY:

The Logistics Inventory Managermonitorsalloperations including butnot limited to; Process shipments, prepare paperwork,communicate freightstatusanddispatch driversforpickup.The supervisorwillbe the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, systemoperationsand vendors and provide quality customer service, while meeting company policies and procedures.

EssentialFunctions:

  • Responsibleforongoingprocessanalysisofoperationalsystems,procedures,andstaffingtodrive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist District Manager with general tasks

  • Cycle counting

  • Excel a MUST

  • Responsibleforensuringsafe operationsaswellascompliance withallOSHAregulations, all applicable laws, and Pilot's Corporate Policies

  • Effectivelytrain,supervise,coachandevaluatealldirectreportstofostergoodcommunicationsandmorale

  • Reviewsoperationalkeyperformancemeasuresmonthlyaswellasbenchmarkingdatatodriveany required correctional or improvement strategies

  • Communicatingfreightstatusandanyproblemstocustomers,vendorsandotherPilotstationsandpersonnel

  • Freight handlingviaforklift

  • Load/Off-loadbuildtrucksforoptimalrouting

  • Otherdutiesasassigned

PayRange:

$75,000 to $80,000 per year

7am to 4:30pm
