Training Intern (Logistics and Construction)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week
Location: Dallas, TX, On-site
Internship with an opportunity for full-time employment
Position Overview:
The Intern will: Coordinate, schedule and organize ongoing classes and events. Schedule and manage classes, workshops, job fairs and other events with multiple stakeholders including students, teachers, partnering organizations and client companies. Manage communication about event schedules and event details to stakeholders ensuring that information is distributed effectively. Anticipate and solve problems to ensure that classes and events are completed successfully. Lead, teach and assist teaching some classes. Develop training materials as needed. Ensure that all stakeholders complete required documentation. Maintain records and documentation of classes and events for students and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, schedule and organize ongoing classes and events.
  • Schedule and manage classes, workshops, job fairs and other events with multiple stakeholders including students, teachers, partnering organizations and client companies.
  • Manage communication about event schedules and event details to stakeholders ensuring that information is distributed effectively.
  • Anticipate and solve problems to ensure that classes and events are completed successfully.
  • Lead, teach and assist teaching some aclasses.
  • Develop training materials as needed.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders complete required documentation.
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaker
  • Preferred: Graduate Student in Construction, Logistics, Business or related degree plan
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Construction, Logistics, Business or related experience
  • Ability to coordinate classes, events, training programs and industry fairs
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Logistics, Business or related degree plan
  • Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills including communication and responsiveness
  • Basic understanding of Human Resource management practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • AI proficient
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
