Job description

10‑4 Logistics USA seeks recent CDL‑A graduates and experienced CDL‑A drivers to operate regional dry van routes. This position offers steady, predictable runs with 100% no‑touch freight while requiring adherence to DOT regulations and professional representation of the company.

Compensation: Projected annual pay range: $70,000–$80,000 USD.

Schedule & area of operation: Two days home every other week; regional routes east of I‑35.

Equipment & freight: Late‑model Freightliner tractors; automatic; fully equipped. Freight: Dry van — 100% no‑touch.

Paid training: Initial 4–6 weeks with a mentor; training stipend provided ($650 per week).

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safe vehicle operation: Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Timely transport: Deliver dry van freight on assigned regional routes according to schedules and customer requirements.
  • Inspections and reporting: Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance needs.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required maintenance documentation consistent with regulatory and company standards.
  • Communication: Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch; follow routing and delivery instructions.
  • Freight handling: Secure freight properly to prevent damage or loss and follow applicable handling procedures for dry van loads.
  • Incident reporting & cooperation: Report accidents, delays, safety concerns, or compliance issues immediately and cooperate with investigations or corrective actions.
  • Professional representation: Represent 10‑4 Logistics USA professionally during interactions with customers and the public.

Minimum qualifications:

  • License: Valid CDL‑A.
  • Training / experience: Recent graduates: completion of a minimum of 120 hours of truck driving school within the last 12 months. Experienced drivers: prior CDL‑A driving experience will be considered.
  • Age: Minimum 21 years.
  • Medical and screening: Ability to meet DOT medical requirements and to pass required pre‑employment and periodic drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Language: Proficiency in English sufficient for safe vehicle operation and effective communication with dispatch and customers.
