L3Harris is seeking a Logistics Engineering Specialist to support our expanding product portfolio at our Sterling, VA facility. In this role, you'll provide critical program support across multiple areas including asset management and tracking, obsolescence mitigation strategies, component inspection and quality assurance, and training event coordination and support. Essential Functions:ย 

Roles & Responsibilities as individual contributor will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Support an efficient PHS&T system which introduces minimal organizational delay time or errors, and results in material shipments at the "right place at the right time", thus improving system availability and lowering overall life cycle costย 
  • Interface daily with PHS&T Lead and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to ensure all SMD PHS&T needs are being metย 
  • Perform asset and equipment audits on customer and company owned property as directedย 
  • Identify, plan, and report the availability and usability of packing materials to PHS&T Lead and/or IPTLย 
  • Process, track, and close-out the shipment of products to and from customer sites, the depot, and possibly OEMsย 
  • Monitor and track the movement of supplies from the stock rooms to operational support in the fieldย 
  • Support depot specific operations as directedย 
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.ย 
  • Assist in innovating the strategies for tracking program assets and spare parts to maximize efficiency
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Sunflower EAM Tool Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
  • Forklift certified
  • High attention to detail and well-organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
