SCOPE OF POSITION:
Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships with customers. Assist customers with new orders and advises status of orders in process. Serves as primary back-up to the Supply Chain Supervisor. Monitor material readiness for shipments to meet customer demands and expectations. Set up shipments for domestic and International. Prepare all necessary shipping documents that are required.

  • Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of customer orders
  • Acknowledges orders, verifies pricing, billing, shipping addresses and informs customers of any problems
  • Researches and resolves problems with orders
  • Processes orders in a timely fashion, meeting all deadlines
  • Conducts customer surveys and compiles results for management review and consideration
  • Creates the pack list and the Bill of Lading and scans into IMS and sends to the customer as needed
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with customers
  • Resolves questions, requests, and promptly and courteously addresses problems
  • Keeps customers informed of Company policies, procedures, and status of their orders
  • Maintains the Company's professional reputation
  • Provides consistent feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
  • Maintains the Customer Complaint/Feedback Log and works closely with the Quality Manager to provide resolution to the customer regarding the complaint
  • Process purchase requests and orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Conduct Inventory Cycle Counts as required.
  • Performs all other related duties assigned by management.
