JOB OVERVIEW

The Logistics Associate is responsible for coordinating and executing shipping and logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to manage the flow of goods and optimize supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Coordination: Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists. 
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and update inventory management systems to ensureaccuraterecords.
  • Carrier Liaison: Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring adherence to timelines and service requirements. 
  • Order Fulfillment:Assistin the order fulfillment process, picking and packing products for shipmentin accordance withcompany standards. 
  • Logistics Support: Coordinatelogisticsoperations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution tooptimizeefficiency and reduce costs. 
  • Data Entry:Maintainaccuraterecords of shipping andlogisticsactivities, including tracking shipments and resolving discrepancies. 
  • Problem Resolution: Address shipping issues and delays promptly, working with carriers and suppliers to resolve problems effectively. 
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards, including hazardous materials handling when applicable. 
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to shipping andlogisticsperformance,identifyingareas for improvement. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S 
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) 
  • 2-4years of experience inlogistics, shipping, or supply chain management. 
  • Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Demands:

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
