YOUR ROLE

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the inventory database, data entry and providing scheduled and ad hoc reports to management and the customer.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Enter and track data related to the shipment and receiving of customer inventory
  • Create reports (daily and weekly) for customers and employer
  • Working on all aspects of the Reverse Logistics portion of the business
  • Direct communication with the customer
  • Assisting in providing on-the-job training as directed by Management.
  • Record keeping, logbook updates, and completing computer entries and checklists as required.
  • Assisting in resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensuring safety and emergency awareness and requirements are completed
  • Participating in start-up activities with cross functional teams.
  • Supporting Lean practices, teamwork and quality initiatives in all areas of the operation.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Completing tasks following defined processes and procedures may involve a variety of work routines.
  • Being proactive and coordinating actions that will ensure operations are efficient and meeting requirements.
  • From time to time, management may add new or redefine responsibilities to meet our customer demands

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • High School education an asset.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications;ย Strong MS Excel skillsย required.
  • Accounting background an asset.
  • Must possessย strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities.ย 
  • Ability to deal with multiple demands and various tasks/deadlines simultaneously.
  • JIT third party logistics an asset.
  • Work in a very fast-paced, noisy environment; multiple demands.
  • Must demonstrate satisfactory performance and attendance record to be considered.
