YOUR ROLE

Provide a complete transportation solutions service to CEVA Canada customers by managing air, ocean, and ground operations, as well as procurement and tenders.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Build and maintain a constructive relationship with customers
  • Follow up on orders with various suppliers and communicate updates to the customer
  • Verify documentation and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Issue required documentation in accordance with instructions and regulations
  • Maintain certain reports (internal or external)
  • Track shipments to destination and inform customers of any updates or developments
  • Invoice according to the rates provided to the customer
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  • Respond to various quotation requests (from customers and/or overseas partners)
  • Provide innovative solutions to customer(s)
  • Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and other bid requests
  • Work as part of a team and support colleagues during vacations and absences
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education and Experience:

  • College diploma or equivalent level of education

Skills:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the transportation industry, including at least one year in freight forwarding

Aptitudes:

  • Comfortable coordinating FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO, air freight, and ground transportation, including oversized, hazardous, and heavy cargo
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative and proactive thinker with risk management abilities
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak both English and French

  • Responds quickly and professionally to customer needs
  • Ability to read, understand, and complete checklists, forms, and related documentation
