Job Title: Logistics Capacity Manager (with Carrier Network)
Location: Jeffersonville Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
TSI TRUCKING LLC is seeking a highly motivated Capacity Manager with an existing carrier following/network to join our growing logistics team. This individual will be responsible for securing truckload capacity through their established relationships with carriers, booking freight efficiently, and ensuring reliable, cost-effective transportation solutions.
This is an ideal role for someone with deep industry connections, a proactive mindset, and the ability to bring immediate carrier capacity to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage existing carrier relationships to secure reliable truckload capacity across multiple lanes and regions.
  • Book freight efficiently and cost-effectively using carriers from your network.
  • Maintain strong communication with carriers to track load status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time performance.
  • Identify and onboard new carrier partners to grow available capacity.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to make strategic carrier and lane decisions.
  • Build and maintain carrier scorecards and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to align freight needs with available capacity.
  • Negotiate rates and ensure compliance with all company policies and federal transportation regulations.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in truckload brokerage, dispatching, or logistics capacity management.
  • Active book of business or strong carrier following that can be immediately utilized.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with carriers.
  • Deep understanding of the freight market, transportation regulations, and load booking process.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years in a logistics or freight brokerage role.
  • Existing relationships with asset-based carriers across major U.S. lanes.
  • Experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and other carrier sourcing tools.
