Make a difference as a Warehouse Manager

As the Warehouse Manager at Riverside Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team dedicated to efficient warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising associates, optimizing staff efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. You will spearhead initiatives to improve warehouse functions, conduct monthly P&L reviews, and participate in Quality Management System processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in creating and analyzing operational reports in Excel, is crucial.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to follow instructions effectively, lift items up to 50 pounds, and obtain a Riverside Operator's License within 30 days of employment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are key attributes for thriving in this dynamic and customer-focused environment at our Richmond, Virginia location.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience directing employees in a warehouse operations environment.
  • Three to five years' experience utilizing WMS & QMS Systems.
  • One to two years' experience working under ISO regulatory requirements preferred.
  • General knowledge of general industry Hazmat Rules and Procedures as they pertain to warehouse operations preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook
