Job description

Position Summary

JEX Technologies is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, inventory management, material control, receiving, shipping, and logistics activities. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely fulfillment of project requirements, enforcing warehouse procedures, and supporting operational success across multiple departments.

The Warehouse Manager will serve as the primary owner of warehouse performance and inventory accountability while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Control

  • Maintain ownership and accountability for all warehouse inventory, materials, tools, equipment, and company assets.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are entered and maintained accurately within the company's inventory management systems.
  • Manage inventory levels, replenishment activities, and material availability to support business operations.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures that improve accountability and traceability.
  • Manage and maintain inventory data within KAISPE and other inventory management systems.

Receiving & Material Verification

  • Oversee the receipt of all incoming materials, equipment, tools, and shipments.
  • Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
  • Ensure all discrepancies, damages, shortages, and overages are documented and reported immediately.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve receiving issues.
  • Ensure received materials are properly labeled, documented, and stored within designated warehouse locations.

Warehouse Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Establish and enforce warehouse organization standards, labeling systems, and storage procedures.
  • Monitor warehouse space utilization and optimize storage capacity.
  • Ensure all materials can be easily located and retrieved when needed.
  • Maintain accountability for company-issued tools, calibrated equipment, and warehouse assets.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Manage all outbound shipments and material fulfillment activities.
  • Verify shipment accuracy, documentation, packaging requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, tracking information, and shipment records.
  • Support project teams by ensuring materials are available and shipped according to project requirements.

Auditing & Reporting

  • Conduct and oversee cycle counts, monthly inventory reviews, and annual physical inventories.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and audit-ready documentation.
  • Generate inventory reports, shortage reports, and inventory performance metrics.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance requirements, process audits, and inventory traceability initiatives.
  • Develop corrective actions for inventory variances and process deficiencies.

Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead daily warehouse operations and establish expectations for performance, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and oversight to warehouse personnel.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Field Operations, Manufacturing, and Management teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure operational readiness by supporting project planning and material staging activities.


Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or material management experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with inventory management systems, warehouse software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to analyze inventory reports and identify process improvements.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials as required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles when necessary.

Preferred

  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or asset tracking software.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience supporting engineering, industrial, manufacturing, mining, or oil and gas operations.
