PureWay Compliance is a national healthcare and environmental compliance company specializing in regulated waste collection, logistics, fulfillment, transportation coordination, and compliance solutions. We support healthcare providers, pharmacies, government agencies, and commercial customers through a nationwide network of warehouses, transportation partners, and service providers.
We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Operations Manager to oversee multi-location operations, logistics performance, transportation coordination, and regulated waste service programs. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across multiple facilities and service providers while supporting continued growth and new program implementation.

Position Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple warehouse and service locations, coordinate transportation and logistics activities, manage bio hazard and regulated waste collection programs, and support inventory and fulfillment operations.
This individual must possess a strong supply chain and logistics background, experience within waste management, environmental services, refuse operations, or related industries, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing customer requirements and new operational programs.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and has a proven track record of driving accountability, organization, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
Multi-Site Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple warehouse, fulfillment, and service locations.
  • Monitor operational performance, service levels, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational scheduling.
  • Partner with warehouse managers, supervisors, and third-party service providers to achieve operational goals.
Logistics & Transportation Oversight
  • Manage transportation performance across parcel, LTL, FTL, courier, and waste transportation networks.
  • Coordinate routing, scheduling, carrier performance, and service recovery activities.
  • Monitor freight costs, transit times, and operational KPIs.
  • Identify and implement logistics process improvements that improve service and reduce costs.
  • Support transportation planning for new customer programs and expansion initiatives.
Bio hazard & Regulated Waste Operations
  • Oversee regulated medical waste, pharmaceutical waste, sharps, and bio hazard waste collection programs.
  • Coordinate customer service, pickup scheduling, transportation, and disposal activities.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with waste vendors, transportation providers, and disposal facilities to maintain service continuity.
  • Investigate service failures, compliance issues, and customer escalations.
Supply Chain & Program Management
  • Support inventory management, purchasing coordination, and operational planning activities.
  • Assist with implementation and launch of new customer programs.
  • Develop scalable processes to support company growth.

Systems & Reporting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of operations management experience.
  • 3+ years managing multi-location operations, logistics, transportation, or field service operations.
  • Experience within waste management, refuse, environmental services, recycling, medical waste, or related industries.
  • Strong supply chain and logistics background.
  • NetSuite experience required.
  • Experience managing transportation providers, carriers, or service networks.
