This role is with KBR's GAM (Global Asset Management) group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management.
Job Summary
The Material Coordinator within KBR's Global Asset Management (GAM) group serves as a strategic leader in overseeing the accurate flow, tracking, and accountability of materials across multiple operational domains. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end material lifecycle activities, including receipt, distribution, consumption, and reconciliation, while ensuring data integrity within SAP and related systems. The coordinator will lead efforts to resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and continuous process improvement, driving operational efficiency and compliance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in SAP material management transaction codes and Microsoft Office applications, with a proven ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams. U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred qualifications include Six Sigma or Lean certification and experience with asset tracking databases, reflecting a commitment to operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain records associated with receipts, movements, and Kitting of Consumption of Materials.
  • Arrange distribution of materials upon arrival including receipts, record inductions into SAP, material inspector notifications, put-aways, and inventory record updates.
  • Reconcile material and inventory variances.
  • Determine Root Cause and Preventive Actions.
  • Support material flow and inventory process improvement.
  • Provide leadership and overall operational oversight for all tool cribs, ensuring consistent processing, staffing coverage, and service levels across the site.
  • Lead and develop Tool Crib personnel, including work assignments, training, performance oversight, and daily operational direction.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 1 year of related experience.
  • Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Must be very proficient in working resolutions to Product Receipts & Inductions and the associated SAP Transaction Codes relating to Material Receipts, Material Kitting Pulls, Inspection Notifications, and Material Issuance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma, Lean and/or Green Belt Certification.
  • SAP and Asset Tracking Database Knowledge.
