Job description

Tensley Consulting is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist - Level 1 to provide acquisition logistics expertise supporting the installation, fielding, operation, maintenance, and lifecycle support of technical systems. The Logistics Management Specialist will support integrated logistics activities across multiple functional areas, including system support management, maintenance, supply support, provisioning, configuration management, technical data, transportation, facilities planning, installation, and operations training. This position will also help ensure projects comply with applicable acquisition logistics management and lifecycle support requirements, including NSA/CSS Policy 8-3, "Acquisition Logistics Management." Responsibilities The Logistics Management Specialist will: * Provide integrated logistics support for the installation and fielding of systems.
* Support system maintenance and lifecycle support planning.
* Assist with system security plans and associated logistics requirements.
* Support supply activities and provisioning requirements.
* Coordinate packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of system deliverables.
* Support technical data development and data management activities.
* Perform field configuration management activities.
* Support installation planning, facilities planning, and implementation.
* Assist with operations and end-user training requirements.
* Identify and resolve acquisition logistics issues, risks, and concerns.
* Develop Acquisition Logistics Support Management (ALSM) documentation detailing field support and lifecycle logistics requirements.
* Apply knowledge of NSA/CSS Policy 8-3, "Acquisition Logistics Management."
* Assist projects in meeting acquisition logistics management and lifecycle support requirements. Salary: $103,000-$114,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
