Job description

Salary: $168,000 - $211,000, pay will depend on several factors including experience and location of position.
The Plant Logistics Manager (PLM) is responsible for leading the Material Logistics Management (MLM) operations team in Safety, Quality, lean Stellantis Industrial System and Inventory Control Optimization activities at the plant level. The PLM is the department head and is responsible for the development of the MLM plant staff to grow future leaders. This individual will use analytics to develop the strategic direction for the MLM department in support of plant, division and corporate objectives. The PLM is held accountable for meeting industry and company audit compliance, managing and allocating department financial resources, and interpreting and communicating the corporate business directives at the plant level. The PLM also acts as the plant Stellantis Industrial System Logistics and Customer Service (LCS) Pillar lead responsible for driving lean process activities by integrating with multiple levels of the organization and other pillars.
*Responsible for Manpower Management including Salary Employee Hiring, Retention, Development, Performance and Stellantis Industrial System Involvement
*Participate in the accurate completion of Audit Management Activities including Product Process SOX Audit, MQGR ISO Audit, Stellantis Industrial System Lean Audit
*Lead the Stellantis Industrial System Lean Management activities for Logistics including Expansion and Depth activities, Audit Presentation and Benchmarking activities
*Lead Strategic Vision for MLM Department Key Process Indicator (KPI) initiatives to identify and attack top business losses
*Participate and support the Plant Strategic Vision development and execution from a MLM perspective
*Interacts with all levels of the organization including bargaining and non-bargaining hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership
Basic Qualifications
*Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
*Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused in production control, supply chain or material handling
*Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues as well as manage through all aspects of the daily business including escalation and communication as required
*Experience in setting strategic direction, leading and developing the MLM team
*Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
*Ability to implement, sustain and improve new or existing material flow processes and inventory control strategies
*Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
*Master's Degree in related field
*Stellantis Production Way Logistics Pillar knowledge
*Experience Working in a Unionized Environment
*Ability to relocate
