Job Description
The Logistician will provide logistics support in a secure environment. This role focuses on material accountability, documentation, and coordination with finance and program staff. The Logistician will be responsible for tracking MDAT actions, supporting CAP reporting, and managing the ordering, receiving, inventorying, packaging, and shipping of electronic equipment and related materials. The position requires someone who can work with minimal supervision in a classified environment.
Key Responsibilities:
MDAT Management
Complete and track MDAT actions from initiation through closure. Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation for all MDAT activity.
CAP & Financial Coordination
Work with Finance to correctly complete CAP reports and related documentation. Ensure alignment between logistics records, asset status, and financial reporting.
Logistics & Inventory:
Order, receive, and inventory parts, components, supplies, and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory and asset records in applicable tracking systems. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to support mission needs.
Shipping & Receiving
Package, label, and prepare electronic equipment and materials for shipment in accordance with applicable policies and security requirements. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and maintain all associated documentation.
General Support
Operate effectively with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment. Coordinate with program, engineering, and operations personnel to support ongoing and emerging material requirements. Generate and maintain logistics-related reports (e.g., inventory status, MDAT status, CAP-related asset changes).
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph. Minimum 15 years of experience in logistics or supply support, to include:Ordering, receiving, and inventorying parts, components, supplies, and equipment. Packaging and shipping of electronic equipment. Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate logistics, inventory, and asset documentation. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a secure environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with finance and technical/program teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Familiarity with organization-specific systems used for MDAT, CAP, and property or asset management. Experience with Microsoft Office or similar tools for generating reports and maintaining spreadsheets and logs, consistent with typical expectations for logisticians who produce status metrics and maintain equipment and parts databases. Experience with rapid procurement of parts, components, supplies, and equipment in support of time-sensitive mission needs.

The salary range for this role is:
$83,500 - $146,000
