Overview:

The Logistics Planning & Analytics Manager is a data-driven leader responsible for forecasting, modeling, and reporting logistics and warehouse operations. This role drives decision-making through KPI management, predictive analytics, and performance reporting, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical skills with practical logistics experience to transform data into actionable insights and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities: Logistics Forecasting & Modeling
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve logistics and warehouse forecasting models for capacity, inventory flow, and seasonal demand
  • Develop predictive analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations
KPI Management & Data Analytics
  • Own core warehouse and logistics KPIs, including:
    • Logistics Expense Rate
    • Inventory Accuracy
    • Damage Rate
    • Warehouse Utilization Rate
  • Collect, validate, and analyze KPI data from multiple systems (WMS, ERP, 3PL data)
  • Identify gaps, trends, and anomalies in operational performance
Reporting & Presentations
  • Create clear, actionable, and visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI and Advanced Excel
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and operational summaries for leadership review
  • Translate complex data into insights that drive decisions on space utilization, cost reduction, and service improvements
Process Improvement & Collaboration
  • Partner with warehouse operations, finance, and 3PL providers to implement improvements informed by data insights
  • Recommend and support system enhancements, automation, and best practices
  • Lead initiatives to reduce logistics costs, improve inventory accuracy, and optimize warehouse space

*Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as required.

Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas)
  • Strong experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Data analytics and statistical modeling experience
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems
  • Forecasting, scenario modeling, and KPI analysis
