Your role as a System Operator Supervisor
Key responsibilities:
Position Overview
We are looking for a System Operator Supervisor to effectively supervise the system operator team on site and
provide a level of service in line with technical requirements. This person will direct and lead the operator team in
daily functions, conduct and assist in training and ongoing development as well as maintain a professional culture
on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure the Operators are focused on System flow, clearing faults, running reshuffle profiles on a
consistent basis and help with lost product.
• Manage the team in line with NewCold company policy and ensure company and customer standards are
met.
• Supervise and train Operators to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Material Handling
Equipment and Cranes.
• Conduct operator observations on safety, GLA training and monitor and react to GLA faults and Corax
reshuffles.
• Introduce and maintain a focus on health, safety, cleanliness, and quality in all aspects of warehouse
activity.
• Complete climb training and testing.
• Facilitate communication on site to include daily shift briefs and daily shift handovers as well as
communication on MHE issues.
• Communicate with internal team on any MHE flow issues that may impact service, or risk of failure in
these areas.
• Support the warehouse team in keeping the Rework Ipoint clear and moving.
• Plan labor efficiently each week in order to achieve expected MHE performance, and remain in line with
budgeted resources.
• Control and manage shifts including holiday planning, absence management, performance management,
and safety audits with NewCold team.
• Partner with WMS Super User on reshuffles profiles and reports.
• Support maintenance, dispatch, pick floor, planning and customer service teams to help with the smooth
running of the site.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2-4 years of experience as a System Operator.
