Job description

The individual in this position is responsible for the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) processes, data consistency, evaluating data trends through statistical analysis, managing company inventory policies, establishing and driving departmental metrics such as service level, and developing strategies and processes to enhance purchasing and inventory management activities. This role works closely with the Director, Purchasing and Asset Management and the VP, Supply Chain to eliminate waste, drive efficiencies and reduce supply chain costs.

People Development. Cultivate the team's business process & applications skills, enabling them to effectively hit objectives while expanding their knowledge.
Inventory and Service Management. Utilize data and material attributes to optimize service and inventory levels across the network. Utilizing vendor returns, scrap, and internal network rebalancing. Standard reporting will be crucial to the role.
Purchase to Pay SAP Development. Represent supply chain on the PCAB committee, driving SAP and BI developments and enhancements for the purchase to pay processes.
Supplier Evaluation / Collaboration. Support the Supplier Evaluation Process through scorecard development and supplier collaboration, driving continuous improvement in inventory productivity, delivery performance, and service levels.
Business Reporting / Special Projects. Support ad hoc inventory reporting tools to drive network best practices.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated SAP working experience
  • Proven leadership and organization ability
