POSITION: Inventory Control Coordinator

LOCATION: Springfield MO

DURATION:6+Months(posibilty of extension)



POSITION DUTIES:


The Inventory Control Coordinator for the Logistics Center is responsible for the following:

Track flow of product through the warehouse using JDE and LMS. Investigate inconsistencies and reconcile within the appropriate system to maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse.

Maintain a pro-active approach to identify potential problems. May investigate product availability at all Logistic Centers in order to resolve issues to minimize shortages and delays due to other links in the supply chain.

Monitor, investigate and correct any variances between the JDE and LMS systems.

Accountability for all finished goods product and the ability to reconcile inventory with a high degree of accuracy. Investigating and researching LMS history will be critical.

Contribute towards Logistics' specialty projects with the ability to analyze, present and implement new concepts toward cost reduction.

Conduct regular cycle counts and audits of the finished good inventory. Identify issues to appropriate personnel. Report results and issues on a timely basis.

Identify any quality issues with finished good inventory. Monitor and control all quality inspections and reworks. Keep accurate data records on all quality issues.

Monitor and control all disposal of finished good inventories. Keep accurate records of disposal in compliance with Client standards as well as governmental regulations.

Ensure inventory is stored within Client standards and governmental regulations.

Accountable for the cycle count budget and hitting target achievements.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:


College degree preferred.

Knowledge of data base administration (Access, Fox Pro, Oracle, SQL), spreadsheet, and word processing software required (i.e. Excel and Word). Additional familiarity with e-mail, AS400, JD Edwards and strong computer skills a must.
