We're Currently Hiring for a VP, National Account Sales

This key position reports to the President, NationaLease and offers the opportunity to act as a strategic leader, driving growth strategy and delivering on our ambitious goals by leading the National Sales team, and advocating for our member sales organizations.

Our leadership team primarily works out of our Downers Grove, IL office location on a hybrid schedule, however we will consider highly qualified US-based remote candidates.

As the VP, National Account Sales, you will:

  • Direct, manage, and develop executive level sales professionals in growing and retaining business to achieve stated sales and retention goals.
  • Work with administrative team to oversee administrative functions including annual division budget preparation and monthly evaluation and all aspects of Contract Package processing to ensure smooth implementation of sold business.
  • Work with NationaLease Members to increase participation in the National Accounts Program and coordinate the sales process to ensure a high closing ratio and Member satisfaction with the program.
  • Plan, organize, direct and provide leadership to achieve the short- and long-term business growth and retention objectives.
  • Work with marketing team to ensure the development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives for National Accounts and Membership.
  • Develop and lead the execution of processes and sales activities designed to retain and grow current customers.
  • Interface with customers and prospects to ensure the maximum development of opportunities associated with the full breadth of NationaLease's products and services.
  • Ensure knowledge of competitors' strengths and weaknesses and manage execution of competitive strategy.
  • Effectively grow and manage current portfolio of Full-Service Lease, Contract Maintenance, and Dedicated Logistics business.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop additional sales professionals
  • Annually evaluate existing rating policy and processes and recommend necessary improvements and adjustments.
  • Plan and facilitate annual member sales meeting and present national account updates periodically at other functional NationaLease events.
  • Participate or present at various Member sales events when requested.

Requirements

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, marketing or transportation (equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree)
  • A significant track record of demonstrated successful sales experience in Full-Service Lease Sales, Contract Maintenance Sales, and Dedicated Logistic Sales.
  • Sales management experience including knowledge of competitive analysis, strategizing, and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of negotiations, tools, and techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial elements (balance sheet, cost of capital, depreciation, tax reporting, etc.).
  • The ability to travel approximately 25-50% across the US and Canada

Your compensation package upon joining Corcentric will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your relevant professional experience and qualifications: your certifications, training, and educational achievements; your geographic location; and Corcentric business and organizational requirements. It is expected that the base salary for this role will be between $175,000 - $200,000, annually, plus eligibility for our annual discretionary bonus program.
