Job description

We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support Anthro's mission to revolutionize the shape of energy storage. The internship dates are September 21 to December 23, 2026. The intern will contribute to the design, improvement, and documentation of key manufacturing processes and equipment used in battery production.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute equipment modification engineering projects
  • Support development and standardization of SOPs, Work Instructions, and Recipes for manufacturing processes
  • Perform equipment setup, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Analyze process data to identify improvement opportunities in throughput, safety, and reliability
  • Collaborate with operations, equipment, and R&D teams to implement and validate process changes
  • Thoroughly document technical work and communicate updates to the broader team
  • Comply with all safety and quality standards within the manufacturing environment
  • Work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with pneumatic or fluid systems (e.g., gas purge or dispense systems)
  • Exposure to automation, PLCs, or control logic
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with tools, fixtures, or test setups in a lab or manufacturing setting

Requirements
