Job description

Southeast Alaska Logging - Now Hiring

Southeast Alaska Logging is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our team at a remote, land-based logging camp located on Afognak Island, Alaska. We are currently hiring for multiple positions, including Shovel Loggers, Loading Shovel Operators, Processor Operators, Road Building Excavator Operators, and Road Building Dozer Operators.

Successful candidates will work in a demanding outdoor environment and must be able to operate safely and efficiently while contributing to daily logging and road-building operations. Applicants should have relevant experience operating heavy equipment in logging, construction, or similar industries. A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and productivity is essential.

This position offers competitive pay with abundant overtime opportunities. Employees enjoy single-occupancy bunkhouse accommodations, Starlink internet access, health insurance benefits, and employer-provided lodging and meals while on site.

Due to the nature of the work and safety requirements, applicants must be able to work in a drug- and alcohol-free environment. Individuals with current drug or alcohol issues should not apply.

Pay/Wages: $35 per hour, $52.50 overtime rate. (6 days per week 11 hours per day)

Heavy Duty Field Mechanic $58 per hour to the right candidate.
