Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Michigan-licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based anesthesia setting in Rochester, Michigan. This role supports OR anesthesia services with a focus on adult and geriatric patients, including general surgical, obstetrical, and neurosurgical cases.

- Facility Overview: 180-bed hospital with 11 ORs; Level III Trauma Center
- Shifts: 8- or 10-hour day shifts
Clinical Scope
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop care plans
- Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Perform and support procedures including:
- General surgical cases (adult)
- Obstetrical cases
- Neurosurgical cases
- Arterial line insertion
- IV insertions
- Floor intubations
- Support out-of-department anesthesia needs including:
- Endoscopy
- Non-invasive cardiology
- Obstetrics
- Radiology (CT and MRI)
- Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards
Practice Environment
- Hospital-based anesthesia services with OR coverage across 11 operating rooms
- Level III Trauma Center with primarily adult and geriatric patient populations and minimal pediatric cases
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- NBCRNA Certified
- Board Certification: AANA (required)
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a broad mix of surgical and out-of-department anesthesia needs
