We are seeking a skilled and experienced Thoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Jurupa Valley, California. This opportunity is available starting ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiothoracic surgery and be board-certified. This role involves providing specialized care in an inpatient setting, with a focus on managing complex surgical cases. The position is primarily for call coverage and does not require outpatient duties.

Schedule and Coverage

    • Bed in Department: 365-8 bed cardiac ICU
    • No outpatient or routine rounding duties required

    • Must have CA licensure, CA Fluoroscopy license, CA DEA

    • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic, Cardiovascular, or Thoracic Surgery
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications:
    • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic, Cardiovascular, or Thoracic Surgery required
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
    • BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications are not required for this role
  • Licensing: Must be licensed to practice in California
  • Experience: Extensive experience in complex cardiothoracic procedures preferred
