OR Registered Nurse Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. In this critical role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
OR Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the operating room before, during, and after surgery.
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for use.
  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams with procedures, anticipating needs and providing support throughout.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and condition during surgery, intervening as necessary to ensure patient safety.
  • Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed during surgery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide updates and emotional support.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care, including preoperative and postoperative assessments.
