Locum Radiologist - Diagnostic

Northern Light Medical Management - Parrish Medical Center - Radiology Services is seeking a locum radiologist for onsite coverage only. If your provider is interested in providing remote coverage, please submit to Job 62393.

Job Details:

Location: Titusville, Florida

Hospital Type: Not-for-profit, acute-care hospital

Bed Size: 210 licensed beds

Specialties: Full-service hospital including Emergency, Inpatient, Outpatient, Surgical, Women's Health, Cardiology, Oncology, and Orthopedics.

Radiology Department Overview:

Services Covered: Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, PETs, DEXA.

Worklist Platform: Merge Workflow Orchestrator (MWO) integrated with Fluency voice recognition

Average Volume:

ER Studies: 120-145 exams/day

Total Volume: 346-382 exams/day

Mammography: Mix of screening, diagnostic and biopsy.

Case Mix: Predominantly ER and inpatient (CT/X-ray heavy), outpatient MRI/US, routine screening mammography

Coverage Model:

Current Coverage: Remote coverage through NLMM network of radiologists

Onsite coverage required for mammography and fluoroscopy

Shifts Needed:

Day shift: High ER and inpatient volume

Evening: ER, inpatient and outpatient coverage

Overnight: ER/routines reads

Onsite Requirements:

Mammography (screening & diagnostic)

Fluoroscopy (contrast studies, procedures)

Comfortable reading a mix of ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies.

Locums Logistics:

Privileges: General diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, mammography (if applicable)

Onsite Requirements: Medical orientation and Hospital credential.

Remote Access: Merge Workflow

Requirement description: MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS:

  • Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist - [REQUIRED]
  • Active Florida Medical License or IMLC - [REQUIRED]
  • MQSA-certified for mammography (for daytime/onsite shifts) - [PREFERRED]
  • Comfortable reading a mix of ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies.
