Job Details
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 – $7,280
  • Location: Sun City, AZ 85351 — Phoenix metropolitan area (Arizona locum tenens)
  • Setting: On-site hospital (interventional radiology department)
  • Assignment Dates: September 1, 2026 – September 2, 2026
  • Schedule: September 1 and 2, 2026; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST each day
  • Call: Rotated with current IR practice, including rotating holiday coverage
Qualifications / Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiologist (locum tenens and staff IR roles welcomed)
  • Completion of an Interventional Radiology Fellowship
  • ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification (ABR-certified preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of IR procedures
  • Familiarity with Powerscribe 1 dictation system preferred
Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
  • Provide general fluoroscopy procedures during day and on-call shifts
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule and holiday coverage with the IR practice
  • Meet productivity expectations (minimum 61 RVUs per shift)
  • Dictate reports using Powerscribe 1 and collaborate with radiology staff to ensure timely, accurate reporting
