Job description

LOCUM Physiatrist (PM&R) - Davenport, Iowa
Inpatient Rehabilitation | Daily Rounding | Ongoing Coverage Opportunities
365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for a locum tenens opportunity at MercyOne Genesis Davenport West Medical Center. This inpatient rehabilitation position offers a collaborative practice environment with strong APP support, manageable patient volumes, and ongoing opportunities beyond the initial coverage dates. Competitive compensation, malpractice coverage, and travel and lodging coverage are provided.
Schedule
  • Immediate coverage needs with ongoing opportunities available
  • Monday-Friday onsite schedule
  • Daily Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • One-hour unpaid lunch
  • Daily inpatient rounding
  • Multidisciplinary care conferences twice weekly
  • Weekday call responsibilities
  • Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 30-60 days
Practice Overview
  • Inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Hospital-based rehabilitation service
  • Approximately 18 patients rounded on daily
  • Cerner EMR
  • Ongoing locum opportunities available following initial assignment
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Perform daily inpatient rehabilitation rounds
  • Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care conferences
  • Coordinate patient care with rehabilitation team members
  • Provide consultation and ongoing patient management
  • Participate in weekday call coverage
  • Collaborate with hospitalists managing medical care
Support Team
  • Two Nurse Practitioners
  • Hospitalist team managing medical care
  • Multidisciplinary rehabilitation staff
  • Therapy services and ancillary support
Requirements
  • Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Active Iowa Medical License or Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification accepted)
  • DEA and Controlled Substance Registration
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • Current NPDB Self-Query required
