To thrive as a Locum Cardiologist, you need board certification in cardiology, comprehensive clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing cardiac conditions, and a valid medical license. Familiarity with echocardiography, ECG interpretation, catheterization lab systems, and hospital electronic medical record (EMR) platforms is essential. They are board-certified cardiologists who provide coverage during staff shortages, vacations, or transitional periods.
