Arc Health PBC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Psychiatry for a locum tenens job in SIletz, Oregon.

Position Overview

  • Join a community-focused outpatient clinic providing comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services.
  • Practice independently within your scope while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Deliver high-quality mental health care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications.
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care.
  • Offer supportive therapy, counseling, and behavioral health interventions when clinically appropriate.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and wellness strategies.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialty providers and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Consult with the Medical Officer and other healthcare professionals on complex cases as needed.
  • Participate in a team-based approach to patient care and quality improvement initiatives.

Schedule & Practice Environment

  • Up to 30 hours per week.
  • Flexible scheduling options.
  • Clinic hours: 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
  • Choose between:
    • 5 eight-hour shifts, or
    • 4 ten-hour shifts.
  • Modern outpatient clinic setting.
  • No inpatient responsibilities listed.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current PMHNP board certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Current Oregon RN and NP license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority, or ability to obtain before practice begins.
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Eligibility for professional malpractice coverage.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
